This policy explains how RCCG City of Praise handles information for its text messaging program.
Information we collect and use
When you opt in, we collect your mobile number and the information you provide, such as your name and messaging preferences. We use this information, your consent record, and messaging records to send church service reminders, event announcements, and church activity updates; respond to requests; and manage subscriptions and opt-outs.
Mobile information and consent
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except aggregators and providers of the text message services needed to operate and deliver this program.
Service providers may use this information only to support the messaging service on our behalf. We may disclose information when required by law.
Your choices
SMS participation is optional. Providing a phone number alone does not enroll you in the program. Consent is not a condition of purchase, giving, membership, or participation in church services.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help. After opting out, you may receive one confirmation message; further program messages will stop unless you opt in again. You can also contact us for assistance or to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information.
Retention and protection
We retain messaging information only as needed to operate the program, honor your preferences, and meet legal obligations. Opt-out records may be retained to prevent further messages. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
